The auctions usually takes about 3 (and more) hours and is surely the greatest fun of the programme. How the auction took place:  ZOOfanatika 1 - ZOO Dvůr Králové nad Labem, 2014:Type of the auction: public Presence: ~10 people Auctioneering, presenting and leading of the auction: Martin Vobruba, Roman Hynek Items of the auction: printed propagation materials, cups, t-shirts, books, tables of animals Special items of the auction: personal items of Josef Vágner (donated by Lenka Vágnerová) Highlight donated by the zoo: 1) tan skin of waterbuck; 2) blown egg of tomistoma; 3) giant photo-picture (about 2.5 m long) of wild painted dog Proceeds: ~7,400 CZK Usage of the auction proceeds: for transport of rhino female Eliška to Africa  ZOOfanatika 2 - ZOO Plzeň, 2015:Type of the auction: non-public Presence: 37 people Auctioneering, presenting and leading of the auction: Richard Viduna, Roman Hynek Items of the auction: printed propagation materials, cups, t-shirts, books, tables of animals... Highlight donated by the zoo: 1) 2 hours feeding of Australian animals in Plzeň Zoo; 2) 30-years old cacti; 3) brochure of Zoo IRIS (probably only 3 exemplars exists); 4) first annual report of Plzeň Zoo (may be only 3 exemplars exists) Proceeds: ~12,500 CZK Usage of the auction proceeds: for Rescue Centre Talarak on Negros island in Philippines  ZOOfanatika

Highlight donated by the zoo: 1) feeding and enrichment of Himalayan brown bears (for 2 persons); 2) otters feeding (for 2 persons); 3) complete historic issue of plans for rebuilding of the Zoo Hluboká (1973); 4) set of commemorative coins embedded in a 800-year-old wood (part of the trunk of 300-years-old tree, which was another 500 years under water) Proceeds: 15,270 CZK Usage of the auction proceeds: for Rescue programme for European pond turtle in Czech republic  ZOOfanatika

Highlight donated by the zoo: 1-3) stopping at rhinos and other experience programs; 2) historical annual reports of Bratislava Zoo; 3) dermoplastic head of ibex; 4) books of Basel Zoo Proceeds: 66,164 CZK (6,547 CZK of that was for accomodation in Drunk Tank and donations) Usage of the auction proceeds: for building of new bear enclosure of Bratislava Zoo Note: the auction was held in CZK, but payment was possible in CZK and also EUR ZOOfanatika
